Walker arrested for violating release conditions

DILLINGHAM:  Logan Walker, 36, was arrested in Clark's Point Thursday for violating the conditions of his release.

Walker was picked up earlier this month for violating his parole on another case after he tested positive for opiate use while at Jake’s Place, a substance abuse treatment facility at the Kanakanak Hospital. His case was noticed by the Dillingham public, as his girlfriend Jennifer Williams was arrested around the same time for allegedly smoking an oxycodone pill with a new mother at the Kanakanak Hospital.

Walker was released from custody after posting $1000 bail and securing a $15,000 corporate bond. He was ordered to be under 24/7 sight-and-sound care of a court approved third party custodian. His mother, Sharon Clark, agreed to be Walker's third party custodian. He was also ordered not to leave her house except to travel for further proceedings.

Authorities, however, found a posting on social media indicating Sharon Clark had been out smelt fishing on October 27. They allege that Walker either went out of the house to go fishing also, or was not in the presence of his third party custodian when she left the house.

Troopers flew to Clark’s Point and arrested Walker Thursday and are holding him on $50,000 bail until his arraignment Friday morning.

Sharon Clark was not arrested for violating her duties as a third party custodian.
