Gen. Joseph Ralston of the Cohen Group and NRDC's Joel Reynolds offer perspective on the findings from a study on EPA/Pebble released this week.
This week the Cohen Group released findings of a Pebble-funded review of the EPA's efforts to restrict some mining in the Bristol Bay watershed. The report called the agency's actions unfair for stakeholders, calling attention to the use of hypothetical mine scenarios in EPA's watershed assessment, and the agency's unique preemptive use of the Clean Water Act.
Ret. USAF General Joseph Ralston and Natural Resources Defense Council's Joel Reynolds offer different perspectives on what the report is, and how it may (or may not) play a role in the future debate over Pebble. Those conversations first aired on the Friday, Oct. 9 Bristol Bay and Beyond. Listen to them below.
