Three years to serve for selling heroin twice to DPD informant

KDLG: A Dillingham man caught selling heroin to police through two separate controlled buys pleaded guilty Friday. 27-year-old Adrian Mark has been in custody since his arrest last June.

The prosecutor agreed to consolidate the two charges into one count of attempted second degree misconduct involving a controlled substance in exchange for the guilty plea.

Mark will be sentenced to six years in prison with three suspended, meaning he has about two years left to serve. He will remain on supervised probation for five years after his release.

Mark's public defense attorney says a prior felony conviction may have kept Mark for not getting a better deal in the case.
