Skipper claiming to be from Egegik charged in residency case

Alaska Wildlife Troopers have a pressed a case against a man they say actually lives in Seattle, Washington, and not Egegik, Alaska.

58-year-old drift boat skipper Peter Most has been charged in a residency investigation case and faces 10 counts of unsworn falsification.

Troopers say Most claimed Alaska residency on multiple Commercial Fisheries Entry Commission applications when he did not meet the state’s requirements for residency.

Authorities also accuse Most of providing a false address on several DMV forms and applications.

An arraignment on the charges is scheduled for June 16 in Naknek Court.
