Bernie Sanders won 11 delegates from House District 37 in Saturday's Democratic caucus, while Hillary Clinton recieved three.
132 voters showed up at caucus sites around Bristol Bay, the Alaska Peninsula and Aleutian Islands Saturday morning.
The results for House District 37 mirror statewide results: Senator Bernie Sanders recieved nearly 80% of overall votes, with the rest going to Hillary Clinton. Sanders will get 11 delegates from District 37, while Clinton gets three.
The caucus-goers were split between six sites: 81 voted in Dillingham, 36 in Unalaska, 12 in Naknek, two in Igiugig, and one in Togiak.
Local Democratic party chair Mike Davis said the turnout to the Dillingham middle school gym rivaled the record-setting turnout in 2008.
