Marijuana Dealer Busted in Togiak; Village Residents Say Enough is Enough

KDLG

40+ Togiak residents called the DA's office to say they don't want Kevin Harless, 51, back, after over an ounce of pot was seized at his house Monday.

DILLINGHAM:    On Monday, two village public safety officers in Togiak discovered a drug dealing operation at the home of 51-year-old Kevin Harless, Sr.

According to authorities, Harless was in possession of more than an ounce of marijuana, bagged for sale, and they said he had recently delivered some to a 17-year-old.  Harless was arrested and is facing a pair of felony drug charges.

This bust is just the latest event in what authorities suspect is growing drug activity in Bristol Bay. But as KDLG's Dave Bendinger reports, one village is starting to say enough is enough.
