Bristol Bay and Beyond, June 17: This week, anglers from near and far will be descending on the Nushagak River as the sport fish season kicks off this weekend. "They want to have some action, and this place has the best action for kings," says Jeremy Toman of Toman's King Camp. Plus we'll see how the young guides-to-be are doing at their annual fly fishing camp, and go take a look (and sniff) of those walrus at Cape Greig. "If the wind is right, or I guess wrong, depending on how you look at it, they're quite pungent, yes," said Bryan Pfaender, chief pilot with Branch River Air Service. Plus something different this week. The daughter of a fallen DPD officer gets answers about the night her dad was killed 24 years ago from another man who was there that night. Antoinette Fields and Terry Rogers let us listen in as they connect for the first time, a long time coming.
