Bristol Bay and Beyond, April 8:  This week, those on the front lines of Dillingham's drug abuse problems offer insight to hidden realities. Doctor Mitch Horan joins to discuss pain and pain medications, and how Kanakanak Hospital added a layer of oversight to opiate prescriptions. Fish and Game area management biologist Tim Sands says he plans to fish the Nushagak drift fleet on the flood tide next season, following Board of Fish feedback. We visit artist Apayo Moore as she continues work on a large mural for Bethel. And Gabe Dunham helps give an skiff and outboard a good spring goin' over. Those stories, plus a look back at some of the week's news.
