KDLG has expanded to become the leading, and often only source of local news, weather, fishing information, amber alerts, storm warnings, messages, and public announcements in Southwestern Alaska.  Covering a 64,200 square mile region roughly the size of Ohio, KDLG is serving 18,000 year round residents in 45 different communities. Reports have shown that on average, 38,000 visitors each year travel to our listening area during the summer months due to commercial fishing, recreational fishing, hunting, and wildlife viewing.
