Troopers seize booze bound for Togiak

DILLINGHAM: State troopers reported making two seizures over the weekend of alcohol bound for the dry village of Togiak.

Troopers say an unnamed adult female was contacted Saturday in Dillingham prior to traveling to Togiak with six bottles of R&R whiskey. On Sunday troopers contacted another adult female at the Dillingham Airport who was bound for Togiak and allegedly had five containers of alcohol in her possession.

Both women were released on scene and importation charges were forwarded to the District Attorney’s office.
