Ramp agent napping in cargo hold of Alaska Airlines jet, forces emergency landing

Pilot reported hearing banging beneath the aircraft after takeoff from Seattle.

KDLG:  An Alaska Airlines jet that took off in Seattle Monday bound for Los Angeles had to return and make an emergency landing after the pilot reported hearing banging beneath the aircraft. It turned out to be a ramp agent, who Alaska Airlines says had fallen asleep in the front cargo hold of the aircraft sometime before takeoff.

The pilot landed safely, having been in the air only 14 minutes. Alaska Airlines says the cargo hold is pressurized and temperature controlled, and the ramp agent walked off the plane apparently ok. He was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
