One of the most controversial pieces of legislation to come down the pike in several years in Alaska is House Bill 77. The bill would make some significant changes to the rules and regulations governing the use of state land. The latest version of the bill was taken up this week by the Senate Resources Committee and public testimony was taken Wednesday. KDLG’s Mike Mason listened in and filed this report.
