Public library back open for normal hours

KDLG

The Dillingham public library reopened last Friday afternoon after being closed for a week due to electrical and computer troubles.

Summer library assistant Nicole Ito says the library is now fully operational and open for its normal business hours (see below).

She says kids ages 3 and up can look forward to this summer’s reading program.

“The theme for the summer reading program this year is 'Every Hero Has a Story' so it's going to be great. There are so many things you can do with that, from everyday heroes to comic book superheroes, so it should be a really fun program.”

Ito says the library will announce dates for that reading program soon.

Wednesday morning story time for toddlers will continue throughout the summer.

Summer business hours:

Monday: 10-5

Tuesday: 10-5

Wednesday: 10-6

Thursday: 10-5

Friday: 11:30-6:30

Saturday 10-2
