Two boaters were discovered Tuesday after being reported overdue from Eek on Monday.
Around noon Tuesday, 40-year-old Ronald Green of Eek and 23-year-old Alicia Sharp of Quinhagak were located by searchers. The two were reported overdue Monday, after they failed to arrive back in Eek on Sunday night. A local effort went by water to search for the pair, who were on an 18-foot Lund skiff.
Troopers said the deteriorating weather along the coast had grounded their aircraft from joining the search, but local airlines had been asked to look along their routes.
Green and Sharp were reported to be in good health and were transported back to Eek.
