KDLG: State troopers say they arrested 25-year-old Cody Trefon from Nondalton Wednesday after a 10 month investigation in alleged sexual abuse of a minor.
According to troopers, last August a child being interviewed at the Child Advocacy Center in Dillingham regarding a separate incident said she had been sexually assaulted by Trefon when she was 11 or 12 years old.
Troopers say Trefon was not charged and arrested until their “lengthy” investigation was complete. He was remanded to custody at the Bristol Bay Borough jail.
