Naknek Jury Finds Two Fishermen Guilty of Kidnapping, Assault, Burglary

Daniel Whittington, 22, and Llyod Davis, Jr., 38, are facing between 7-106 years behind bars for a vicious 2011 assault in Chignik Bay.

Justice has finally come for a commercial fisherman who was the victim of a savage assault in Chignik Bay two years ago.

Last week a jury in Naknek found Daniel Whittington, 22, of Oregon and Lloyd Davis, Jr., 38, guilty of Alaska, of kidnapping, burglary, assault, and criminal mischief. Based on those convictions, the two men could spend between seven and 106 years in prison.

A third defendant, Christopher Jordan, 35, of Oregon, faces the same charges but has not been tried.
