Mishka, a sea otter from Port Moller, treated for asthma at Seattle Aquarium

Nov 10, 2015

Dr. Lesanna Lahner gives an update on the treatments for Mishka, a sea otter rescued in 2014 from Port Moller, who is the first of her kind to be diagnosed with asthma.

Mishka, a one year old sea otter rescued from a fishing net in Port Moller now living at the Seattle Aquarium, was diagnosed with asthma after the wildfire season in Washington. Her veterinary team and handlers say she's responded well to use of an inhaler originally designed for a cat.
