Governor Parnell Taps a Sport Fishing Guide Business Owner for the Board of Fish

Alaska Governor Sean Parnell has chosen a replacement for Board of Fisheries member Bill Brown from Juneau who resigned last month. The Governor has tapped Reed Moriski from Fairbanks to serve out the remainder of Brown's term that expires in June of next year. The appointment is still subject to a confirmation vote by the Alaska Legislature. Reed Moriski owns a sport fishing guide business in Fairbanks called "Wilderness Fishing" but he's also is the project manager for the University of Alaska Fairbanks Division of Design and Construction. Moriski's appointment takes place immediately and he will likely participate in the Board of Fish's Area M meeting that will run from February 26th through March 4th in Anchorage.
