Douglass to step down rather than stand for retention

Pat Douglass, Dillingham's second ever Superior Court judge, is going to retire after the first of the year. Alaska's Judicial Council will seek candidates to take her place.

Dillingham superior court judge Patricia Douglass will not stand for retention this November. Instead, she let the Governor know that she intends to retire from the bench by late January. KDLG’s Dave Bendinger has more:
