Dillingham street vendor accused of peddling pot to teens

KDLG

KDLG:  The possession and use of marijuana is legal in Alaska, but selling it to kids is still a felony offense.

Dillingham police arrested David A. Crow, 32, on a charge he sold joints to two teenage boys last week. Crow is often seen selling DVDs and other wares across from the AC store downtown.

According to a police affidavit, the boys told police they bought two joints off Crow for $20 and say he then gave them a third free. The boys smoked the pot, and fessed up where they got it when their parents found out.

Crow was picked up on a $7500 arrest warrant for a class B felony charge of third degree misconduct involving a controlled substance. His arraignment is scheduled Wednesday morning.
