Dillingham man pleads guilty in airport burglary, sentenced to 30 months

Antone Suskuk, 32, of Dillingham and Koliganek, pleaded guilty Wednesday to two felony counts of burglary and weapons misconduct and was sentenced to 30 months in jail.

The charges stem from a break-in of three airline terminals at the Dillingham airport in December of 2014, in which Suskuk allegedly stole cash and three handguns.

Suskuk, who has prior felonies on his record, turned himself in to the police just days after the break-in, saying he’d been under the influence of drugs and alcohol.

During a change-of-plea hearing Wednesday, Suskuk pled guilty to two of eleven original charges. He faces nearly three years of jail time, and he’ll have to pay a restitution amount set by the state.

As a condition of the plea deal reached with state prosecutors, Suskuk also agreed to testify in the state’s court case against Darcie Clark, a Dillingham woman who faces a felony drug charge for selling heroin in December 2014.
