An 81-year-old woman complaining of chest pains was successfully transported to Dillingham on Monday by a helicopter and crew from U.S. Coast Guard Air Station Kodiak.
Monday morning the U.S. Coast Guard conducted an emergency medical services transport from Togiak to Dillingham.
Air Station Kodiak recieved a call at 2:30 a.m. that an 81-year-old woman complaining of chest pain was in need of an emergency medical evacuation. A crew arrived in Togiak in an MH-60 helicopter at 7:30. They successfully transported the woman to Kanakanak hospital in Dillingham.
