Clark indicted for Olsen murder

Just a day after his arrest, an Anchorage grand jury indicted Brian V. Clark on all four felony counts.

KDLG: The state’s case against Brian Clarkwas good enough for a grand jury. An indictment was returned Wednesday on all four charges filed based on allegations Clark broke into the home of Ella Olsen on February 7, 2015, then robbed and killed her.

Witness testimony provided this month to Dillingham Police was the last piece of evidence prosecutors said they needed in order to prove their case beyond a reasonable doubt. According to DPD, this witness says he met up with Clark a few months ago in Anchorage to buy heroin, and at that time Clark confessed to killing the 55-year-old Olsen.

Clark was arrested Tuesday in Anchorage. The case was presented to a grand jury Wednesday, and included the testimony of six witnesses. He was indicted on one count of first degree murder, two counts of second degree murder, and one count of robbery.

Clark is being held on $500,000 bail and will be arraigned on the indicted charges next Wednesday in Dillingham.
