Bristol Bay students mull budget woes as lawmakers convene in Juneau

As the legislative session begins in Juneau, a group of Bristol Bay students are in the state's capital, learning about the process and speaking up on behalf of their communities.

The second session of Alaska's 29th Legislature gaveled in Tuesday morning. Over the next three months Alaska's lawmakers will again wrestle with how to balance the budget amidst steep declines in revenues from oil. A group of students from Bristol Bay are in the state's capital this week, learning about the process, and speaking up on behalf of their communities.
