Bristol Bay and Beyond, Oct. 30, 2015

Clark Fair

What's giving us goosebumps this Halloween? Your stories about Hairy Man, Little People, the long-nailed woman, thunderbirds, and more. Plus - watch out for rabid bats and sugar overload.

Join us Fridays for Bristol Bay and Beyond, our weekly news magazine on KDLG. The show airs at 12 pm and 6:30 pm on AM 670, and at 8:30 pm on 89.9 FM.

This week we depart from the realm of the normal and the known, at least, what some people assume they know. Come along as we revisit a few of the mysterious creatures and legends of local lore and tradition - those like Hairy Man, Little People, Stookpaq, thunderbird and more. The longer, creepier nights are upon us, and things are going bump out there. Do you know what you believe about that the creatures roaming the wide tundra, the deep forests, and vast lakes that surround us?  Whether you think you do or not, you’re not going to want to turn that dial, and you may not want to listen alone. This is our Halloween special Bristol Bay and Beyond on KDLG.

That's it for this week's Bristol Bay and Beyond, our weekly newsmagazine on KDLG. We hope you join us each Friday at 12 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on AM670, and at 8:30pm on 89.9 FM.

Do you have your own spooky story to share? Send comments, suggestions, and other feedback to news@kdlg.org ordave@kdlg.org.
