Starting in February, KDLG has 3 new programs to add to our schedule:

Groove Odyssey, produced locally and hosted by Matt Jones, features the best in live music. Each week we explore great Jazz, Reggae, Blues, Folk, Bluegrass, World, and Rock musicians. Satudays at 10pm.

The Splendid Table is a culinary, culture, and lifestyle one-hour program that celebrates food and its ability to touch the lives and feed the souls of everyone. Each week, award-winning host Lynne Rossetto Kasper leads listeners on a journey of the senses and hosts discussions with a variety of writers and personalities who share their passion for the culinary delights, touring new culinary territory, from the vineyards of Provence to the city-street diners of Philadelphia. While doing so, Lynne uncovers hidden delights like dandelion petal sorbet, and offers her modern take on getting food to the "splendid table" with cooking tips, recipes and her own personal advice.  Guest experts, authors, and chefs add to the listener experience. The ongoing explorations of Jane and Michael Stern, authors of Gourmet magazine's "Two for the Road" column, chronicle their relentless quest for the unique dining experiences that take them around the world and off the beaten path. And each week, listeners are invited to call Lynne with their questions. From American Public Media. Sundays at 3pm.

Sound Opinions features two of the nation's most respected rock critics who meet each week to interview artists, listen to performances, give the latest scoop in pop culture and review albums past and present. Sound Opinions is hosted by Chicago Sun-Times music critic Jim DeRogatis and Chicago Tribune music critic Greg Kot, who share a chemistry that is as engaging and entertaining as the music they discuss. Sound Opinions is produced by Chicago Public Radio. It is co-produced and distributed by American Public Media. Saturdays at 11pm.
