KDLG has once again updated our Streaming Audio service.  Due to disconnection problems we have been experiencing using the Windows Media Encoding format we made the decision to switch to the MP3 encoding format.  This stream has several advantages but unfortunately also some disadvantages.  One advantage is that we have been able eliminate the use of a computer and are now using dedicated hardware encoder that has an automatic reconnection feature that should solve any disconnection problems we have outside of a power outage.  Another advantage is that this stream is more compatible with Macintosh computers and is readily usable in iTunes or Quicktime.  However, on the other hand it does require Windows users to download an MP3 compatible media player (apparently Windows Media Player is not) like Winamp Media Player, VLC Media Player, or iTunes.  We highly recommend iTunes for the ease of use and if you already have an iPod you are already set-up.  We apologize for any inconvenience that our upgrades have caused people.  If you have any question or problems connecting let us know and we will try to help you out.
