The annual "Salmon Camp" in Bristol Bay has been scheduled for July 24th through the 30th on the shores of Lake Aleknagik. "Salmon Camp" is sponsored by the Bristol Bay Economic Development Corporation and the UAF Bristol bay campus in Dillingham with assistance from NOAA and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
A well-known researcher with the University of Alaska Fairbanks has retired after 30-year. Chuck Crapo came to the University in 1983 after working in the seafood processing industry.
The Board of Education for the Dillingham City School District passed a budget for the next school year during their meeting Monday night.
